Comprehensive Labor Relations Professional Program
The Comprehensive Labor Relations Professional Program is an in-depth labor management course where participants learn, experience and understand the full scope of labor relations.
The CLRPP conference covers the beginning of the labor-management relationship, including organizing drives, elections and Management and Union unfair labor practices. The program then provides detailed information on negotiating collective bargaining agreements, including persuasive techniques and presenting proposals, as well as day-to-day administration of a contract such as grievance handling. Finally, arbitration case studies of discipline/discharge will be reviewed.
Our virtual learning programs foster engaging and interactive discussion between participants on real life situations, how to handle issues as they arise, and turning issues and disputes into opportunities. The instructor fosters an environment open to Q&A’s and exchanging ideas, including views from both Management and Union perspectives, allowing you to network just as you would in a face-to-face setting.
The CLRPP course occurs over 2 days from 8:30 am to approximately 4:00 pm each day, including breaks and a 30 minute lunch period.
